Hello, I'm Maria Paz Cardone, a glass artist residing in Ajax, Ontario. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, I have a background in education and a lifelong passion for crafting. My journey into fused and stained glass began in 2020, leading me to create handmade jewelry and home décor pieces exclusively from recycled glass. As a glass artist, I aim to make art accessible while prioritizing sustainability, allowing individuals to revel in beauty while championing a greener tomorrow.
My creations are distinguished by the incorporation of solid and clear enamels, lending them a distinctive appearance often accentuated by whimsical bubbles. I also work with fusible colored glass, typically firing pieces several times in the kiln to achieve distinctive patterns and styles.
