March Break Fibre Arts Workshop For Children -Thursday March 16

Join this fun Fibre Arts Workshop For Children during March Break.  Each workshop will begin with a learn to knit session where participants will work on basic knitting skills such as casting on and the garter stitch. With these basic skills, participants can begin to knit a colourful bookmark. 

The second half of each workshop will be a fun fibre arts craft where each participant will create a different craft with yarn.  Activities will include a silly pom pom creature or weaving on a mini loom.

Thursday, March 16th 10:00 am-12:00 noon (craft - silly pom pom creature)

Thursday, March 16th  1:00 pm-3:00pm (craft - weaving on a mini loom)

Materials:

All materials (including knitting needles to take home) will be supplied.
