This drawing was created after a family trip to Ireland. We travelled along the east coast and central regions, visiting historical sites and distant relatives. Scrabo Tower was originally built as a monument to Charles William Stewart, 3rd Marquess of Londonderry in 1857. The tower stands 125ft tall on a hill 527ft above sea level near Newtownards in County Down, Northern Ireland.
