Science fiction and fantasy are a big part of popular culture and Toronto plays a large part of it. Aliens visiting earth has been a key theme in many great movies, and advancements in special effects have made it almost impossible to distinguish it from reality.

"I used thin layers and iridescent paint to create the glowing light of a space ship coming through the clouds. As the viewer moves around the painting or the light in the room changes, the iridescent paint is revealed or becomes brighter."
